Bikers Can Run Red Lights after 2 minute wait in South Carolina

Motorcyclists in South Carolina can now legally run a red light if they have waited at the light for at least two minutes under a new law.

Motorcycle riders can now roll through red lights thanks to a new state bill that Governor Mark Sanford signed into law Wednesday flanked by bikers. It’s called the Common Sense Bill for Red Light Traversal.

Bikers often spend a lot of time at red lights because their bikes aren't heavy enough to set off automatic signal control sensors that are embedded in the streets. So a lot of times, they just run it....

M and M acquires Italian motorcycle designing firm

Mumbai, June 5 : Automotive major Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) has acquired "a controlling stake" in a leading two-wheeler designing firm, Engines Engineering SpA of Italy, it said in a regulatory intimation to the Bombay Stock Exchange Thursday.

Under the agreement between 100 percent M&M subsidiary Mahindra Systech and the European firm, a new entity called Engines Engineering S.r.L has been formed, with M&M holding a 100 percent stake in it.
