Harley-Davidson said Friday it would buy the Italian motorcycle maker MV Agusta Group for about $109 million to increase its presence in Europe.
MV Agusta makes a line of premium sport motorcycles under its name brand and a line of lightweight motorcycles under the Cagiva brand.

The Legend of the Motorcycle Concours d'Elegance was held in Half Moon Bay, California May 3rd and 4th and the featured manufacturers were Norton and MV Agusta. Jesse James, Paul Cox and Billy Lane rolled out their newset custom bikes at the event. Other motorcycle legends were in attendance as well.
A private pre-Concours ride with World Champions Agostini and Read and senior executives from MV Agusta and other motorcycle manufacturers kicked-off in Los Angeles with a private tour of Jay Leno's garage before arriving in Half Moon Bay.
