This game is best played in 3rd person or first person without the cockpit view. Its hard to control and see around corners with the windscreen blocking the view. Its a fun game when it comes to learning the track layout of the MotoGP race schedule but lacks the realism that the newer games have. I bought it for the famous rider names that are used and the types of bikes for those years. If someone is a huge MotoGP fan like me, then its worth the purchase just to have the game. In my opinion, it is a game that is special and is made for the fans of the motorcycling world. It is something to keep on the shelf....just for fun.
Haven't played it yet, but I looked at it too see that it works. I also have a few cheats so I don't get killed

I was impressed with the PS2 GP2 game (I originally purchased these games for the nostalgia of racing as the riders in some of their "early career" modes) and the GP3 game is almost twice as fun as GP2 and with all the features of GP2 but with a bit better graphics and noticably better control. All in all this now my favorite (I play it more than the X-Box 360 GP07). What's next? I need yo find the PS2 GP04!Stay tuned...
I ordered the game for my boyfriend. He is a real motorcycle enthusiest. He did say that it was a good game.
Amazing
